“We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Masks!” What is America’s Problem?

Why do so many Americans rebel against wearing a mask to protect others and themselves when it is so obvious it will slow down the spread of Covid-19 and that it will save lives?

To be honest, this tendency to rebel against authority in America dates back to when the passengers on the Mayflower set sail from Great Britain to begin the birth and formation of America.
What does all of the above mean and how do they explain why so many Americans refuse to wear masks?
The American psyche has always had an issue not so much with authority, but with arbitrary, capricious and gratuitous authority.
That means that since the beginning of our country we arched our backs and rebelled against people pushing their authority on us based on their own self-serving, corrupted-by-power whims. Of course, back then such arbitrary authority amounted to the experienced tyranny of Great Britain that drove people to come to America.
It’s possible that the Founding Fathers might have continued to rebel when they were drafting the US Constitution, except that they had recently gone through a bloody War of Independence and witnessed death and mayhem (not unlike what Covid-19 is trying to show us, if only we will take heed) which caused them to not be so reactive and rebellious for the sake of being rebellious.
Instead it motivated them to be thoughtful and create the Constitution as a non-reactionary, non-partisan and thoughtful document as is evidenced in it’s lofty and heartfelt (vs. purely transactional or reactionary) Preamble:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Despite the heated debates that took place in writing that document, the Founding Fathers knew there was more at stake than partisan politics or ego.
That may explain why it has endured so long.
Nevertheless, America still has an inclination to romanticize and even idolize those who dare thumb their nose at authority and the status quo.
Isn’t that part of what enabled Trump to win in 2016?
The problem is that we have taken it too far and many Americans have begun to apply it to any “authority” or anything representing conventionality including science.
In essence, the people who are refusing to wear masks are saying, “We don’t need no stinkin’ science! Instead we’re going to do what our feelings tell us.”
How many times have we heard President Trump talk about his trusting his instincts over anything else and how he knows so much more than any experts.
So what are we to do?
First 9/11, then a protracted and unending war and now the Covid-19 are possibly telling America that it is time for us to grow up.
That doesn’t mean throwing away and disregarding as Steve Jobs said, the “Crazy Ones,” who have changed the world for the better.
However it does mean, needing to pause and stop being “Rebels without a Clue.”
It’s okay to throw caution to the wind to see and seize the future, but it’s not okay to throw common sense… and science to the wind when it is trying to protect us and save lives.

Bless your heart, Dr. Goulston. You still do not have a clue after all these years I’ve tried to give you one. Bet you didn’t know I have a Bachelor’s of Arts degree, graduated with honors with premed sciences, specifically in biology from basic microbiology all the way up to molecular cell biology. I aced every one of those courses and even set the curves on many tests. Even though at a crossroads in my life I decided not to go on to medical school, I get the science and I have still worked in the medical field. I also follow what’s called the alternative health and healing fields very closely. I have been following the news on both sides of the fence regarding this virus. The CDC has vacillated on the mask issue many times, as has Fauci, and even OSHA – the Occupational Health and Safety Administration – has come out and said that masks should not be mandated and/or worn in enclosed spaces. In addition, researchers and doctors all over the world have spoken out that this virus is not near the scourge that governments are expecting us to believe. It’s no worse than the flu virus in regards to infection rates and deaths. Dr. Richard Bartlett of Texas has been successfully treating his COVID patients, including a woman with multiple cancers, with a common, inexpensive asthma inhaler called budesonide that rapidly reduces the inflammation in the lungs like within one to two days! I watched Dr. Bartlett on video talk about it. Doctors all over have been successfully treating the viral inflammation with hydroxychloroquine plus zinc inexpensively. The hydroxychloroquine aids the zinc into the immune cells to boost the immune system’s ability to beat the virus. However, Fauci wanted to suppress this in favor of remdesivir – a more expensive and far more dangerous drug, as well as to mandate vaccines next. Why? Let’s say that the virus did NOT originate in China. It originated here in the U.S. President Obama and Congress said we are not going to do that research here. Dr. Fauci on his own decided he was going to continue the research in Wuhan, China, and outsourced it there with 3.7 million in U.S. taxpayer dollars annually to do so. Fauci and Gates have been saying for years – including as recent as 2017 – for us to expect a pandemic and how convenient that after the recent Gates’ meeting last fall on pandemic preparedness this virus was just magically released to infect the world. To get you up to speed, Dr. Goulston, the overall agenda is mass global vaccination – Bill Gates’ wet dream – to also usher in digital tracking of everyone on this planet as well as Gates’ agenda to sterilize human beings and reduce the world population – significantly! This has already been done in Africa and the Philippines with introduction in vaccines of HCG – human chorionic gonadotropin – critical for a woman to carry and maintain a full-term pregnancy. A recent report from our state department has revealed that China has been doing similarly on a particular segment of their population. The HCG in the vaccines was causing the women to develop antibodies to their own HCG – thus sterilizing. Vaccines have been used as vectors for other nefarious activities including microchipping – not a conspiracy theory, actually documented by a paramedic who then went on to form the ICAACT – The International Center Against the Abuse of Covert Technologies. Would you like to know more? How about tracking down Dr. Judy Mikovits – who knows Fauci very, very well, and what she has to say about gain-of-function research on viruses and how the AIDS virus got into the hepatitis B vaccine and deliberately dispersed in Africa and the gay population here in the U.S. This virus is a deliberately engineered chimera of multiple viruses including the AIDS virus delivery system to make it highly infectious and likely a binary bioweapon – of which Gates and Fauci own the patents and are pushing the same vaccines they stand to make billions on. WOW! Amazing coincidence isn’t it? The best screenwriters in Hollywood could not have come up with a conspiracy like this one! A female member of the Italian parliament who has knowledge of Gates’ activities globally has already spoken out publicly on arresting him. Can you say Nuremberg Code and Geneva Convention level violations on human experimentation? A mass global vaccine agenda opens up carte blanche human experimentation – you better be concerned about it.
I could go on and on about this, Dr. G, but the point you are missing here is this – it only starts with the masks. Just like it only started with the colonists telling George III that they weren’t drinkin’ that stinkin’ tea!! But love you lots and much respect!
