Usable Insight – The Real Love Story – A Three Act Play
Act 1: Bare Your Bodies
“Oooh, that feels so good!”
- he says to her during sex
Act 2: Bare Your Teeth
“Don’t even think about it!”
- she says to him after he has annoyingly reached over and touched her breast after whining and complaining about not having enough sex
Act 3: Bare Your Necks
“Just breathe though your nose and the pain will all go away.”
- she says to him, gently stroking his wrist, after he has been placed on a morphine drip
Marriages don’t end because you stop loving each other, but because you can’t stop hating each other. What a tragedy that is, because all it takes is for someone to say, ”I’m sorry, I was wrong and I won’t do that again” and mean it. Sadly too many people would rather be right than make their relationship better.
The movie Love Story had it wrong… “Love means always having to say (and show) you’re sorry.”
