Usable Insight – Marketing made Simple
The shortest distance between marketing and a sale is “gotta have it!”
“What???”
“Tell me more”
“How does it (or you) do that?”
“Who do I make the check out to?”
What is the least you can say about your service or product in your marketing, advertising, PR and selling that triggers the above responses which when taken together create “gotta see it, have it and buy it” instead of, “No thanks. I’ve seen and heard enough already”?
If you don’t know the answer, shouldn’t you?
Gotta = Wanna + steroids
P.S. I just demonstrated it.
P.P.S. If you want to find out more about how to “Create Gotta See It, Buy It, Have It” in your prospects, customers and clients, contact John Ullmen at john@ullmen.com and put “Creating Gotta” in the subject line.
One of the best ways to discover what “creates gotta” in your end user is to “Just Listen” (check out the humblingly enthusiastic reader reviews of my book to get a taste of those reactions and which has made “Just Listen” an international best seller).

Pretty insightful post. Never thought that it was this simple after all. I had spent a good deal of my time looking for someone to explain this subject clearly and you’re the only one that ever did that. Kudos to you! Keep it up
