Usable Insight - Thanksgiving foreplay

Don’t confuse someone who’s disappointed you
with someone who’s maliciously hurt or out to get you.

Nobody’s perfect.  Not you.  Not me.  We’re all flawed.  As you get older the more ill feelings you have towards others, the more ill and/or bitter you will become.  The more bitter you become, the more people will avoid you, and then the more new individuals you’ll add to your list and then of course the more negative you’ll become.

The more anger you can let go of, the better you’ll feel and the more people will want to be around you.  If you must be angry, save it for the truly evil and truly sinister, otherwise let it go.

The best reason to go from unforgiving to forgiving is that until you do, you will be unable to be grateful.  Gratitude is the key to peace of mind because you can’t truly be grateful and unhappy at the same time.
