The Torture Moment
If leadership is:
* the Judgement to know the right thing to do
* the Integrity to do it
* the Character to stand up to those who don’t
* the Courage who stop those who won’t
It would seem to me that the right thing to do is set a deadline (not too short, not too long) to gather all the facts, evidence and relevant information about what was done that can be gathered — and to make the willful destruction of any of that information prosecutable and punishable by severe consequences — and then assemble the Supreme Court to weigh in on it.
